We are a family of six and we live in Louisville, Kentucky. We are both teachers and do our best to keep our kids busy! Busy usually means less trouble, but it also makes for a fun time! We are so lucky to live in a fantastic safe neighborhood with awesome Catholic schools! Our Catholic community is very important to us and we love our school families! It's amazing to be part of a neighborhood and school/church community where the kids can walk home, visit friends and play outside all without worry! I think that's really rare these days!
The purpose of this blog is mostly as a journal for our family to keep the stories of our young children alive! They are growing up so fast! I hope anyone who reads this also shares in our joys as a family!
About me: I am a high school chemistry and biology teacher at a school for kids who've been in trouble. I also love the outdoors, traveling, camping, and running. I've got a fantastic training group (mostly runners our neighborhood) and we are currently training for the Derby Marathon. I also qualified for the Boston Marathon this past fall! I'm hoping to be Boston Bound in 2015!
Kyle: Teaches High School English and a Catholic boys school. He is also a coach and inspires many young boys to success! :) He loves his schedule, cooking fantastic meals, reading and music. He was once in a band at Bellarmine University...and rumor is that there may be a reunion soon at Bellarmine's fall Music Festival.
